One of these is Knotted Wrack ( Asophyllum) it grows slightly slower than Kelp but has many more benefits, especially for Livestock health. Ulva Sea Farms is now offering you a chance to invest in the farming of Knotted Wrack. 

Knotted wrack (Ascophyllum nodosum) is a rich source of various minerals and nutrients. It contains:

Investments, Prices and return on investment.

The investment prices start at £10,000 to cover five years. 

During this time, your five lines will give you around twenty tons of wet biomass per annum. Once dried, this will equate to about 6,666 kg, which sells for £2 - £2.50 per kilogram.

Costs, fees and handling charges. Each year, Ulva Sea Farms will take 20% of your ROI and use it to reseed your lines, maintain your lines and general running costs.

So in year two, if you sold 6,666 Kg for £2 / kg, that would give you £13,332 from which we take £2,666, leaving you with the balance of £10,666.


Payment schedules. 

30% on signing the legal document. Another 30% four weeks before the infrastructure goes into the water, and the remainder of the balance the week the seeded lines are due to be deployed.
