Our unique Ulva Sea Pens
Our floating seaweed pens have been designed to farm Ulva lactuca in both shallow and deep water, for Ulva farming both here in the UK and abroad. They are lightweight yet durable and can be easily assembled on-site.
The Ulva pens can be supplied in a variety of sizes, ranging from 15 meters in diameter upwards. The 15m pen holds 235 cubic meters of water and is 3 meters deep, making it ideal for Ulva farming. They are easy to install using our flexi mooring system.
They can be fitted with additional floats and lights to meet the needs of the location and navigational requirements.
The growing pens offer easy access to harvest the Ulva throughout the growing season.
